Nevertheless, grading comics and other collectibles is subjective to an extent. Dealers graded many/most of the comics that I sell. I graded the others and generally jibe with the dealers’ opinions. Note that, for comics from the ‘40s, ‘50s, ‘60s, and early ‘70s, it’s very rare for me to assign a grade higher than FN+ (i.e., a little better than “Fine”). I’m very strict for the high grades.
