Our Policies

If you like our service, please tell a friend. If you have a problem, please tell us! We want you to be happy.


Payment Options

  • For domestic orders we accept payment via cashier's check, money order, Paypal, credit cards, or personal checks. Please DO NOT USE GIFT CARDS, "VIRTUAL" CARDS, ETC.  It's virtually impossible to issue refunds if you use these forms of payment.

  • Pay with personal check, and it must clear before shipment. Personal checks will be held for up to 10 business days before items are shipped.

  • If paying with PayPal, your verified PayPal address and the shipping address must match.  Your Paypal address must be confirmed.  That's Paypal's policy for your protection as well as ours.

  • The billing address on your credit card and the shipping address must match. Please verify that your account information is current and correct with your credit card company.  Please double-check the information in all payment fields.  A simple typo can cause your credit card to be declined.

  • Payment with money order, cashier’s check, or personal check must be received within 10 days of your order. If payment is not received, the items will be returned to stock and the transaction canceled. If you forget what the payment due date is, please contact us.



  • Our preferred shipper in the 48 contiguous United States is FedEx Ground, but we ship lightweight packages via the United States Postal Service whenever that's less expensive.  We try to minimize your shipping costs.

  • Orders outside the 48 contiguous United States will be shipped exclusively via the US Postal Service.

  • We generally ship FedEx packages thrice per week from March through August. We generally ship FedEx packages daily during the rest of the year. (We ship USPS packages daily throughout the year.)  Express methods of shipping are available through FedEx (but, boy, is it expensive!). If you need your order by a certain date, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate, because we want you to be happy.

  • Please double-check all shipping information when you place your order.  You can avoid misrouted shipments, lost packages, and additional shipping charges by insuring all your shipping information is correct.
  • The free shipping offers are only with FedEx Ground shipping within the 48 contiguous United States.

  • We reserve the right to switch shipping carriers, especially to save you money or to ship your order faster.

  • As a general rule, domestic orders that weigh a few pounds will ship for less money via Priority Mail.

  • Occasionally, some international customers have asked us to mark the customs form as “Gift,” rather than “Merchandise,” so they can save on import duties.We’re sorry, but we can’t do that because it’s illegal.



  • If there is a problem with your order, please contact us at before returning an item. All returns must be made within 10 days of your receipt of item. If you need to return a defective or broken item, we will send you a return shipping label to return the item. A replacement item will be shipped upon our receipt of the returned item.

  • For damaged items, please send us an e-mail message identifying the invoice number, details, and pictures. (Pictures are generally required for insurance claims.)  Please do not discard the shipping box or the packing materials until instructed to do so. FedEx needs to inspect them during the claims process.
  • For items damaged in shipment, a claim will be filed with the shipper and a replacement item shipped.

  • At your option, you may choose either a replacement or a refund.

  • If you received free shipping on your order and then return one or more items, your refund may be reduced by the amount of actual shipping on your original order if your total drops below the $350 required for free shipping.


International Buyers

  • We only accept payments for international orders via Paypal. (This includes orders shipped to a forwarding company in the United States.) Please refer to the payment policies above for PayPal policies.  Your Paypal address must be confirmed.

  • Please understand that International shipping charges can amount to more than you pay for your item.

  • We only ship via the United Stated Postal Service (USPS) for international orders.

  • We routinely request a delivery confirmation on all international shipments.

  • During the holidays, please allow sufficient time (at least four weeks) for international shipping. We have no control over delays caused by customs or heavy holiday parcel volume.

  • In the event of lost packages, we cannot refund your payment until the USPS has processed the claim.

  • Please note: When you place an order, your government’s customs agency assesses duties, taxes, imposts, fees, and/or other surcharges on the merchandise crossing its borders.  We do not collect these fees.  We do not pay these fees.  You are responsible for paying them.  We are not aware of the rules for each country, so please check with the customs agency within your country for details.

  • We do not knowingly ship orders to forwarding companies.  If, however, you sneak an order past us, please note that we will not replace any items that are missing or damaged when your boxes arrive. In the past a few disreputable shipment-forwarding companies removed items from your boxes before shipping them to you.  To reiterate, we no longer knowingly ship to forwarding companies.

  • For damaged or defective items we must be notified within 10 days of receipt of item.
