Privacy

We at Villages of Fun (formerly known as Lemax Village Collectibles) are committed to protecting your privacy. We will not sell or disclose any information that identifies you to a third party, period! We may send you email messages a few times a year to notify you about new services or special offers we think you'll find valuable. For instance, when the new merchandise arrives and is available on the web site, we'll let you know so you can order some goodies before they're all gone. If you would rather not receive this information, you may send an e-mail to VillagesOfFun@gmail.com with "unsubscribe" as the subject line. Villages of Fun (formerly known as Lemax Village Collectibles) does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

While we're on the subject of privacy, let's talk about safeguarding your credit card information. We use the industry-standard technology, called secure sockets layer (SSL), to encrypt your credit card information during the transaction. (Look for the "https" in the URL address at the top of the page.) When data is encrypted, it's scrambled so that hackers can't see your information. Even we can't see your information. It looks like gibberish. That way, if some identity thieves were to kidnap us and stick bamboo shoots under our fingernails, we wouldn't be able to divulge your information.

We don't (in fact, we CAN'T) store your credit card information.  The ecommerce platform that we use for our web site doesn't permit us to store your credit card information.  The agreements that we've signed with the credit card providers don't permit us to store your credit card information. As it passes through our system, your credit card information is encrypted, so that no one can decode the information. Your credit card information is safe and secure. Just like the Department of Defense or your local bank would safeguard it.
